Name: Anaia Mischievity
Age: 175 (Appears to be in very early 20’s)
Sex: Female
Species: Mutant (goddess)
Height/Weight: 5’11” / 135 lbs
Appearance: Tall and
slender with very pale almost white skin (similar coloration to the moon with a
slight grey/blue undertone) if she becomes enraged the blue facial markings she
normally hides show as well as turning her entire flesh a light blue. Eyes are
a light leafy green. Hair is straight and black with electric blue streaks
coming from it (hair reaches down to her hips) Face is gentle and slender as to
garner trust with the same effect coming from rounded bright eyes.
Powers: Chaos Factor-
Random events perceived as accidents occur. (examples being keys locked in a
car, things falling, being knocked over) Being the goddess of Chaos represents
fluid change thus accidents breaking the stagnation of Order. This can be
controlled somewhat by Anaia although harder when she starts having higher
emotional states such as joy, anger, annoyance, or anything stressful. When at
the school Professor Xavier can help keep it under control for her although it
does not seem to completely prevent the minor everyday accidents nor any heavily
emotional moments. If she enters a state of complete rage then the “accidents”
are more severe and can be life threatening.
Telekinesis- Limited to moving objects and somewhat tied
into her ability to use her own electrical current of the body to conduct and
use that in short bursts or singular long ones.
Bending of Truth and Lie- Anaia can force the truth out of
someone or force them to lie. There is also the ability to make a person
believe that lies are really the truth. Needs physical contact to work.
Other abilities: With bending truth and such, Anaia came to
find that she can also bend other things although she is still learning. Thus
far she can influence sleep upon someone when she wills it. Anaia also knows
how to fight in melee combat.
Personality: Enjoys the constant flow and change of
everything especially human beings. Variety for her is most certainly her
favorite spice of life as it is a chaos in itself. That said, this gives reason
as to why she joined with the X-Men as they were the most varied group with
unpredictable outcomes. Lively and always enjoying the occasional prank if
things start to seem far too dull. Incredibly friendly with everyone and when
needed she is capable of being polite as she was taught Asguardian’s should
act. There is a small wall between her and others, as only very few are allowed
to learn the darker secrets of her being. If you are allowed close to her, expect
that she will become protective if you become seriously hurt but also expect
that she is going to help nudge things along for the sake of seeing how events
will turn out. As a past time she seems to enjoy playing matchmaker or causing
little events to happen that could lead to those who normally are too shy to
admit feelings for each other to do so.
Is very easily amused at small accidents and mayhem. Especially if it is her doing (Random occurrences
of bad hair days like a hair dying accident making someone’s hair bright pink)
History: Anaia is the youngest daughter of the god Loki and
the goddess of Insanity (who I don’t have a name for yet) . With the mix of Mischief and Insanity she
came into being the very young goddess of Chaos. Anaia was born before Thor was exiled onto
earth.
Anaia inherited the Ice Giant bloodline from her father thus
she has blue markings on her face that she hides unless she becomes upset,
although she did not learn about this until later and assumed it was a birth
mark. Most of her early life was spent
with her mother in Asguard although she often was able to spend time with Loki
and Thor as well when they were not busy with other duties. As a child she came
into her own powers and often was an impish child causing small havoc when she
played. Loki especially admired this and helped foster her love for chaos and
change, even teaching her how to hone her ability to bend truths and lies.
With her ability to charm those around her, she nearly had
even Odin wrapped around her little finger, often getting her out of many
punishments for the lesser troubles she had caused. Thor was her very favorite
uncle and usually she was even able to get him to teach her how to fight giving
birth a fire to her love of battles and appeal to those who enjoyed them as
well.
Anaia took all of her teachings to heart, seeming to learn
them and flourish. Between Odin, Thor, and Loki, she had learned to fight, to
bend those to her whims without even using powers, but she also learned when it
was appropriate to do so. For all of the charm she had, it seemed Anaia
inherently knew that Odin was to be heeded making her seem far wiser than her
age would seem to allow.
Unfortunately, she was present for the interruption of Thor’s
ceremony and blamed herself without need of the Ice Gaint’s small invasion that
day. Despite Loki’s reassurances, the Goddess had made to do her own investigation
of what happened, leaving her absent from Thor’s plans to fight the Ice Giants which
led to his exile. When Anaia returned to find Thor gone, she had gone to ask
Odin why and instead had overheard Loki demanding to know why his heritage was
kept from him.
Thus she discovered her own heritage as well and left
Asguard to visit earth in hopes to find Thor. Unfamiliar with being on Earth,
she unconsciously was causing accidents without meaning too which led her to
meeting the X-Men and thusly Professor Xavier. This kept her from locating her
uncle, although eventually she discovered events turned out in Thor’s favor yet
also her father’s betrayal of Odin and his sibling.
Also, with the knowledge she was trapped on Earth with the
Rainbow Road broken, she decided it was best to integrate her life with those
around her and soon began to take in lessons humanity and mutants had to offer
her. This fostered a love and caring to control just how much chaos she allowed
and to keep some sort of balance between Order and herself. With such, Anaia
finally allowed herself to have friends, starting with Mileena.
Other: Best friend ever is Mileena, who she protects and
always tries to have her best interests at heart, even if she does sometimes
give a little trouble to the woman. Her favorite thing to tell her friend is
that if Anaia was not there, then life would most certainly be boring.
