Story Time!!! ~~~ MRI Blurb Idea for Anaia

So. wrote another blurb after reading about all of the fun Thor verse stuff for Marvel. Came across the Golden apples from the tree of Yggdrasil and only Idunn can pick them for the Asgardians to eat.

As far as I can see, the apples provide youth, vigor, and basically keep them in their prime and keep them from aging and getting weak. Anaia of course has been gone for a good number of years and obviously without the apples I imagine she would start having troubles with keeping up and all goddess wise.

SO... basic idea for this.

Anaia gets Itisha to send her home.

Anaia gets sent back right BEFORE the Bifrost is screwed up. (Itisha's rituals are buggy so the time bit gets warped)

Anaia lets her younger self go through everything that already happened as to not change anything because with her luck it would just make something worse (or Frost could have very likely succeeded summoning the serpent)

When it is time for younger self to go back again Via Itisha, current Anaia makes it a full circle and a day or so later with the help of Odin and Thor shows up once more  and of course she is going to be excited to see everyone because in her eyes she has been gone for years when for them Anaia has only been gone for a day or so.

So... here is the blurb... it was just starting out to be more of a HAHA funny then inspiration hit and yea...

ENJOY!

It seemed to be at the oddest times her mother would show up… or rather the oddest times Anaia would hallucinate. Again her mother took the form of the rabbit-looking form, making the goddess both happy and at the same time a mite bit frustrated. Mostly due to the first words that came out of her mouth.

“Well he is certainly cute.” Red eyes flicked over before she gave an impish smile to her daughter, “So does that mean you will finally give me babies to hold?”

Being the only one to see or hear Driga made it a little more than embarrassing as Anaia’s face flushed darkly when there was a rather loud retort in the middle of Benjamin’s forge, “I AM NOT GIVING YOU BABIES!”

There was a sudden silence as Ben seemed to stop in the middle of whatever he had been working on to stare at her with a very confused expression, “What?” The fact that she was looking off towards the wall just made it a slight bit more puzzling.

Anaia felt even more flustered when he spoke, trying to ignore the fit of laughter her mother had gone into. Oh if only looks could kill, “Sorry Ben, I wasn’t yelling at you… my mother has decided to visit me.”

“I don’t see he-Oh… Tell her I said hello?” A small tidbit of information that she had mentioned one time when explaining the rabbit on her armor which had been that Anaia’s mother was the goddess of Insanity and because of blood relation was able to cause hallucinations despite being up in Asgard.

"Oh he even is saying hello to your hallucination! He's a keeper!"

“Mother, shush and stop laughing!” Anaia pouted and seemed to act far younger than her age would suggest, arms crossing over her chest. It seemed far too human for someone who carried the title of goddess.

Still, it made him wonder what had been exactly said that made the goddess in the forge so uncharacteristically flustered when it was more often that she would be the one to be laughing at… whatever had been said, “Do I want to know?”

“No, you don’t want to know. I don’t even want to know.” Anaia muttered as she crossed her arms over her chest.

Laughter was still happening as tears were wiped away from Driga's eyes, “Oh goodness, dear, you are far too defensive. Not to mention far too worried about that subject. You like the man and it is obvious and he certainly has a fire for fight like you! The babies would be lovely! Why are you making me wait so long to be a grandmother?”

“Mother!” Anaia felt her cheeks burning with heat in the already toasty forge before looking to Ben, “Just… just go back to working… I need to have a conversation with my mother about timing.” With that she started to stalk out of the forge leaving the poor blacksmith in the dark about the subject.

“Anaia… your hair streaks are turning pink.” The white rabbit woman would state with more laughter as her daughter continue to stalk out of the Inn and just continued to walk, directing herself towards the waterfalls.

“It’s your fault. Why are you even down here?” The fresh air was far more helpful in calming her nerves, hair being brushed away from her face as she took a deep breath.

“I can’t visit my only daughter?”

“It is never just a visit.” She sighed as the sound of falling water brought a little more relaxation, hair fading back into its normal colors, “What do you want?”

A slight frown as the head tilted, ears flopping to the side before Driga sighed, “You always were far more intuitive than most your age, but you are beginning to lose touch. Anaia, I want you to come home, you are starting to act far too human.”

“You know very well that if I wanted to, I would be there, Mother.” A frown formed before Anaia crossed her arms over her chest, “I am not acting any differently than I usually do.”

“There is a reason that gods only walk among mortals instead of living with them. You haven’t noticed that you have become exhausted more easily?” Red eyes remained on green ones as the young goddess appeared that she wanted to remain in denial even though eyes showed another thing entirely.

It had been true, as of late she felt far more sluggish than when she had first arrived, “Maybe it was just whatever the Professor had done to me when the Bifrost had been destroyed. Besides we fought with Frost as well. The bat was like a million times older than me.”

A pause as Driga started thinking before she spoke with a softer voice, “There are also more ways to get into Asgard than the Bifrost. If there is Valgrind and the portal to Nighthaven, then wouldn’t you think there would be one to Asgard as well.”

Silence stretched as Anaia’s expression hardened when she stared at her mother, “Why didn’t you tell me before?”

“You had to stop Frost.” Was the soft response before she gave a smile, “You still need to stop her, but you are growing weaker by being here. You have not been here to eat Idunn’s apples for years.”

“Thor doesn’t have to eat them…” Anaia muttered, not liking the idea of the one way trip even if there was truth to the matter. Shoulders sagged heavily as she thought it over. The idea upset her, but stopping Frost had more precedence, “How do I get home?”

“Your world-hopper of course, Itisha. Although I do believe between her mishaps in the ritual and your chaos, there might be a slight issue of… time.” The way Driga’s voice trailed off made Anaia’s mind blank before jaw fell slightly.

“I’m already there!” Eyes were wide as the rabbit woman nodded, “No wonder you knew I liked rabbits!”

“Yes you mentioned it years ago. Although it had to start somewhere, but you need to come back now so the self that is here can come back there again with full strength once more. Your other self has even gotten better at control of your abilities and even learned a few more tricks. Taking after your father and your uncle both… such a force to be reckoned with since you seem to have Loki’s intelligence and Thor’s love of battle.” Hand reached out to her daughter’s face with a sweet smile, “I cannot tell you much more than that dear just know that I am proud of you and I will see you soon. Find the dragoness and continue the cycle.”

Breath escaped as the ghost-like hand touched her cheek, tears starting to slip down her face, “I will see you soon mother.”

“Even sooner than that…” Driga chuckled before adding, “You ought to say goodbye to your handsome friend though… the you here is getting antsy at having to wait. Seems you are rather attached to your friends there.”

Face flushed again although she did not retort such an idea, “How am I getting back here?”

“Ah, your uncle and grandfather have that covered. Your idea of course.” Her mother perked happily, seeming excited at such a prospect.

“If you say so, just so long as I don’t become maimed in the process.” Anaia shook her head, knowing her ideas thus far tended to cause trouble.

“No worries! You have a helmet to protect you from any crashes!” Driga beamed as she started to giggle. Making Anaia smile weakly before moving away from the hallucinated woman, “Go now my daughter. I love you and I am proud.” With that the rabbit-woman vanished, leaving Anaia alone with the water before she turned and started to walk to the Inn once more to say goodbyes and blackmail a dragoness.
